battery charger

I am taking the KonicaMinolta Dimage Xg to Italy on vacation but will need to charge the battery while there. I have one of those converter/adapter combos but it says not to use on battery chargers. Any suggestions? Thanks

I'm not exactly sure what youre talking about here, but i'm going to venture a guess. If you're talking about rechargeable batteries, I use them for my digi cam. They work pretty well. A lot of cameras don't recommend them b/c the lithium 3V things last longer. But rechargeable batteries last long enough and would be fine

I think he's asking about plugging the charger in while overseas... If it will hurt it... and I have no freaking idea... I would say bring some normal batteries, and go ahead and try it...worse case it will ruin your rechargables, but you can always buy new ones...I dunno, that's prolly not the best advice, but it's what I would do.
