Great lighting. I would consider a little more contrast, slightly warmer white balance, and perhaps removing the lines in her armpit.

Nicely done; I agree on the contrast boost, and possibly even a tiny bit more saturation.

Just personal opinion, but I feel that an armpit can be retouched without being obvious or looking fake. The rest of her skin is so perfect, so my eye moves quickly to the imperfections in the armpit. Because it's near one of the brighter spots of the image and there is no strong presence of eye contact to compete with her armpit as a focal point, I feel that it already draws a lot of attention. Maybe just a little subtle dodging on the dark line would make it less of a focal point.

Armpit looks fine to me. This may be just me as I´ve never seen anyone else comment on it but I feel that rounded forms (her right elbow in this case) shouldn't just touch any side of the frame. They should be either somewhat cut off or completely included with a tad of space between edge of form and frame. The rational behind this is that when the edge of a ball just touches the edge of the composition frame a visual tension is created that draws attention there which is counter productive if you want the focus of attention to be more towards the interior of the composition.

Like a 1DX or a 5Diii!!!
This is why every Nikon shoot needs keep a Canon near by, so when your Nikon fails (and it will) you have the Canon to pick up the slack!

Really love this one! I can see the much improved image quality in this one photo, but that is just a Canon for you!

To be honest, the only time I've ever even used a Nikon, was when I played with my brother in laws camera. And the difference between that and my T3i as for button layout was quite different, I only had it for like five minutes, so I didn't have a chance to find out how to use it. And my brother in law has never learned how to use it, and knows less about it than I did!

It was a friends'50d...I hated the lcd viewscreen....went by the histogram...focus was good...and the colours were good as well...but I missed the pinsharp focus of my d800e...and weirdly the elinchrom trigger didn't respond as fast....have elc pro 500s and on the nikon I can just flow...bang bang bang with out pause....yet on the canon I had to pause between shots if not the elc's would not fire

That seems odd that it paused between shots, I bet there was something in the camera settings, but I really don't know. And the viewscreen is settings, on my T3i while you are in the "view images" screen (or whatever it is called) you click the "info" button, and it changes what is displayed. I don't know if the 5D's are the same though.
I am surprised that it isn't as sharp as the D800e, I have seen some insanely sharp photos from the 5D's.

I bet it really did stink using the Canon though, you get used to everything about your camera, then switching to something different would stink!
