Both pictures are very nosy, so I'm assuming that your did a major crop on both pictures. Once I got past that issue, I preferred picture 2 over picture 1 as its bluish background detracts from the over all image, and my eye continually seems to wonder over to it. Pic 2 with its shallower DOF has a much more pleasing and softer background. You also offset the flower and Bee for a better composition.

I like everything but the noise. I downloaded a copy of #2 and added 50 luminance. It softened the noise just enough to get it out of the way without hurting the detail. (imho)

1st thing I'm going to buy when I get some extra money is a descent macro lens so I can stop with all the cropping lol.

Nice one grey beard. Your edit is a lot nicer.
Not sure I can do that sort of PP as I'm computer less at the moment and having to do everything on a tablet (although its doubtful I could manage it with a pc if the truth be known lol!)
