Greetings,

I am a beginner who recently bought a D600. I really am enjoying the camera, learning about photography, and most of all just getting out there and shooting and learning as I go. Here are a few pictures I took today. I thought I had took them in RAW format, only later did I realize they're JPEG. I did do some post processing in Lightroom. Would really appreciate any type of feedback, ways to improve the images, what you would recommend doing differently in terms of camera settings, etc.

Thank you,

Train shot is the best. Crop out the pole. Darker sky would make it pop more. An ND filter would help.

Like #3 the best! I know that''s not CC, but hope it is useful.

Live music and red barn would benefit from being CLOSER, I think. Overall, not too bad for a newbie!!! Keep shooting, keep seeing, keep working at it. You will make some good pictures along the way.

Thanks for the feedback! Great suggestions Derrel
