Earlier today while driving my my wife to the store she snidely told me to "keep my eyes on the road" while SHE was checking out a woman. I didn't even notice her!

what the hell? Now I have to be held accountable where both of our eyes drift?? :lol:

I was going to point out the same thing. In the driving situation that you had I will usually point out that the woman "wears the same sneakers you do babe" or "is the ur friend Paula" (ugly girl she knows) diffuses the situation quickly. Lol

The problem is not that you check out other girls. I mean, we're still human, right? We still notice attractive people who are not our mates.

The problem arises when you guys are way too obvious about it. And fyi, you're always too obvious about it.

Again, I get to appreciate how my wife is really unique. I can't recall being rebuked for looking at anyone. In fact, a while ago we were in Amsterdam (me, on business, and she came along to see the sights), and she had a whole week to herself while I was elsewhere. After I came back she took me to all the places she discovered, including the red-light district. Then again, she's an artist, and looking at (and drawing) naked bodies of either gender doesn't faze her in the least.

I happen to think that she is actually more normal than we are led to believe. The women who get all pissy about it are just louder - and so are their husbands

I don't give my boyfriend a hard time because...
a) he doesn't act like a dick when he notices an attractive woman;
b) it would be hypocritical of me to do so since I also notice attractive men; and
c) I'm not insecure about myself or my relationship, so there's no need to feel threatened.

This. This is one of the most annoying things. Ever. I don't know how many times I've been relegated to the couch for something "Figment of Emily's Subconscious" "me" has done... That guy's a real *******, apparently.

I honestly don't envy those of you who get smacked for looking at someone. Hell, my wife points women out to me, and it isn't a trap like most everything else. That's about the one thing I don't get in trouble for. :lol:
