Best lens!

I am just getting started in bird photography and I am looking for advice on which lens I should get that is not to expensive? I am looking for at least a 300mm lens. I have a Nikon D3200.

To save a couple $$'s look for a refurbished or well cared for used one.

What $$$ amount to you is "not to expensive".
