Best method of getting images to the customer?

What is the best method to get images to a customer? I know I could use a USB or that but it could be a while before that could be done.

I am just wondering what is the best way of sending the images without losing image quality.

Have them printed at a commercial printing lab, and deliver them to the customer in person. Guarenteed zero quality loss.

Commercial customers or retail customers.

From a sales perspective is best to present images to retail customers in person.
Preferably shown big.
Retail clients likely won't be using a calibrated display, and may use a viewing application that compromises image quality.
