Best of the lowest, which to buy (entry level & Pro-sumer Dslrs)

Hello all, this is my first post on this forum and hopefully not the last

I have been on the hunt for another Dslr since my 30D and 60mm bit the dust, quite literally i might add, but my budget won't allow me to get an upper level dslr right now. So i have been spending this past week looking over countless threads trying to find the best of the entry level Dslrs of any brand. I have about $900 to spend on a new body AND lens. My lens of choice would have to be a 60mm 2.8 macro, which is about $400 average on most systems leaving me with $500 on a body. I may have more or less depending on some things i have for sell right now.

The dslrs i'm considering right now are the Nikon D5000 or D90 and the Pentax K-X or K-r. I havn't looked at canon much since i usually end up buying another 30D lol >.<
Any suggestions for a different body or lens are welcomed

(I mostly do macro, still life and portaits. I go camping, fishing, hiking, biking, and just alot of outdoor activities in general as well)

Since you do a lot of outdoor activities, would you consider a weather sealed camera body and lens an important part of your decision?

(you can also consider used... which I often recommend if someone is on a strict budget)

I usually always buy used anyways lol, I was raised to save money when I can.
Weather sealing is a plus but I wont go out of the way for it, as long as I have a good case, camera armor and a trashbag I'm ready for anything
