Something Canon and something with IS

Canon IS > Nikon IS when it comes to Point and Shoots. Look for Optical IS and not software or digital. Keep it under 10 mp

Canon A590 IS is a great camera and pretty cheap. Really nice pictures.
Powershot SD1100 IS is nice too.

Fuji makes some nice ones, I love mine (fujifilm f45fd). Compact and takes great photos.

Thanx, did some research and decided on the SD1100 IS
It is just about the best compact Canon makes!
Had a hard time finding one but got it! :thumbup:
