Best Songs of All Time

Oh, and another one.

Dan Fogelberg: Leader of the Band.

Yeah, Dan Fogelberg. Not really who you think of in "best of all time" discussions, but this song always makes me think of my dad. Ever time I start to sing the lines "His gentle means of sculpting souls took me years to understand" and especially the refrain, "My life has been a poor attempt to imitate the man; I'm just a living legacy to the Leader of the Band" I start to tear up.

I'm tearing up now, in fact. Jeez, I miss my dad.


I have just done exactly the same. All my favourite songs seem to be sad they are beautiful classics I love the old ones, they make me think of my grandparents
