Big Ole Husky!

Husqvarna Huskylock 936 Serger. (sometimes called an Overlock Machine)
16 stitches, including Overlock, Chain Stitch, and Coverstitch. (2/3/4/5 thread stitching)
the wife has been wanting to upgrade her old Huskylock serger (the blue one) for a while now, so I figured since she just got the new embroidery machine, might as well finish the set and upgrade the serger as well. I was very pleased with how the lighting and background came out on this one. very little editing needed.

meh.. uhh oh. Doesn't quite have the dramatic effect, less curves. Looks less antique. Lighting seems less dramatic too. Towel or whatever underneath is wrinkled, distracting. The different color threads are neat though. Looks like almost a blow out on the handle too. You slacked on the lighting didn't you... Kind of a squarish, boxy subject. Probably don't help.

well, it looks less antique because it is less antique. a lot less antique.

it definitely doesn't have nice lines like the vintage stuff, but hey, I work with what I got.
the towel is wrinkled yes, because its sewn that way. :biggrin-93:

its actually for her Singer 221 Featherweight, and since you prefer the older stuff, I might just go do a portrait of the 221 while I have your attention.
