I love the feeling you caught in pic 3. Nice work. Very natural, very unrehearsed, you ... her... a beach...enjoying life. I like it.

If I may inquire...what did you say to her in that last pic to make her laugh? That wasn't a "honey..smile" laugh...you did or said something that made her light up like that.

Not a gymnest but she is health concious and loves to swim.

As for her expressions, she is a crack-up and a ham in front of the lens, a naturally happy person. A mother of 2 and 49 years old she amazes me daily, I am truly blessed.

You need a big ass light to shoot in that condition... or just let the sun hit her from the front.

Yeah, that sun was brutal. I need to shoot later in the day, near sunset or easy morning but didn't have that opportunity last weekend. Even an assistant with reflector but it would have been too windy that day to hold one anyhow.

I can tell she is naturally happy...that glows. I just thought for sure you did something silly to make her light up for that one. Guess I was wrong. lol

First and foremost, you have a lovely wife!

I like photo #1... The exposure and focus seem perfect... On my monitor, the color looks a little bit warm (especially her face and the orange highlights in her hair), but then again, that's my uncalibrated monitor...

Photo #2 shows exactly how windy it was! I give you both props for shooting anyway!

Photo #3 is definitely my favorite... It screams out FUN, especially with her sunglasses and big smile... The photo does seem a little bit crooked to the right though...
