Bird photos for C&C

Went out to the wetlands to practice, C&C welcome. They were shot with a Nikon 80-200 f/2.8 that I have been using lately to help me decide if I want the 70-200.

1 and 2 are great in my opinion.

3 I just wish the sky was nicer to you with some clouds or something!

i liek 2 the best. its def. the sharpest quality...1 looks a lil out of focus..but overall good shots!

Thanks. These were taken with a Nikon 80-200 f/2.8 but I hope to get better shots with a Nikon 70-200 and a 1.7 teleconverter. The 80-200 is OK, but I want the VR that the 70-200 offers.

Nice set of images.

Have you tried shooting at a lower ISO setting? #2 have some noise in the background that I find distracting.

I like the simple composition of the last image...very clean and graceful.
