Blank processed film

If after the film is developed, (manually) the film comes out blank. The lens cap was not on and the film speed adjustment was right. Any comments or suggestions?

the film was not properly loaded so it didn't pass behind the shutter,

if you developed the roll yourself, did you happen to use fixer first?

a blank film means that no shoots were made ... on my old 60s camera i use tape to positon the film...also i have learned that form manual develop there are special solutions ...i m not familiar with the process but my photolab guy said so ...you shoul talk to a pro and beg him to let you watch how it s done ...good luck

The film contained a few frames that had a faint image or just dark spots, but no image. It just seems like they are not getting the right exposure, however the light meter read that it was okay?

If a roll of film comes out blank, or has only the faintest traces of images, the first thing to look for is the edge print. Don't give any other evidence or memory of how the film was exposed any consideration until you've examined the edge print.

The edge print is exposed onto the film during manufacture. It develops like a normal image. If is is not present or just as weak as the faint traces of images then the fault lies solely in the processing. If it developed completly, dark black numbers and text on negatives or clean white or slightly yellow on slides, then processing was reasonably correct and the problem lies elsewhere.

The numbers come out fine on the sides. In fact, this last example actually contained about 4 decent images. The chemicals are all good. When I developed mine, they were fine. However, the other example came out mostly clear, with the exception of a few. There are some "black exposed spots on the film." I am going to try to scan or take pictures of them.

It's possible that your meter is shot or yout batery is flat.
