I can get rid of the red eye but animals end up with blue from the flash, I can not seem to figure out how to get rid of it and look decent. Where do I start? & the red eye removal in adobe raw does not work on it. I have photoshop cs5 thanks!

If there is no other blue in the image then try creating a hue/saturation adjustment layer and desaturating just the blues. Even if there is other blue in the image you can still use this because the adjustment layer will give you a layer mask and you can just get rid of the blue in the animal's eyes.

Or if the blue eyes aren't in theshape of a catch light then you could just clone the blue out. Very tedious but will still work.

I will try those, for some reason I can not find the right spot to get the colors ps is still new to me.

My wife hadthe camera I am in the arena, lighting sucked in there. Need the 70-200 f2.8! and more than the built in camera flash.

Yeah, not so sure either of my suggestions are going to work... There doesn't seem to be any color at all in the animal's eyes... Just the blue blob... :/ Sorry.

well hmm...I tried just to darken the blue glow but that did not seem to work well looked real un natural then. having the iso all the way up and not real good lighting really made it tough.

Raise your flash up higher when you shoot - a simple flash bracket of ebay that raises the height of your flash up should help to counter the silvery/red eye problem that you get. That way the light from the flash is no longer coming at a directly parallel to the lens, but at a slight angle which helps eliminate this problem from occurring.

However I've no idea as to an effective solution once you get it - maybe try simply making each eye black?
