brrrrr today was a cold day.

so today I met up with a new client of mine, and we just took some random photographs. eventually I'll be doing her senior portraits, it's just not warm enough for the ideas we both have.

anyways, here are two of them, enjoy, and critique please.

Really dislike the bokeh in the 2nd one, it's distracting and is one of the first things i see before the model.

Maybe it's because you had to scroll down to get to it. I like it.

I love the bokeh in the first one. The second is definitly more intense, but I think that is a personal taste. For some reason her arm pops out to me and looks really long in that one as well...but who knows why. Great shots And many props for getting out there in the cold, I can't bring myself to do it!

thanks for the words, and yeah I do agree, it is pretty intense in the second one. i'll tell you one thing, it was frigid. especially on the fingers without gloves.

I like them. I wouldnt cut off the hand though. #1 is my fave but if you do it again, you might also want to try getting rid of the building in the shot

I like these for the cold, the colour and perspectives, nice angles and use of DOF. I don't like the cut off hands or the out of focus leading eye in the last two.
