There are 2 seasons in South of Vietnam: Dry season from Nov to Apr, then Rainy season.
They only can make and harvest salt in Dry season.
Making sea salt is very hard and low-income job.
The whole family with 4 people may make less than US$10,000 per year. $2.5K for a person a year

I suggest that if you have 3 very similar pictures, post only the best.
The two lesser pictures dilute the impact of the best one.
I suggest you fill the screen more with your center of interest; that extra sky and stuff doesn't add content and allows impact to drain away.

In this topic, I would like to tell a story, rather than to show only a good/best pic.
Being shooting portrait for more than 10 years (as a hobby), I know very well how to keep pictures simple and the main object should fill the view.
In this series, I do the other way, with my wide angle lens, and try to keep as wide as possible.
I would like to show the only lonely, little man on the vast salt field, between earth and sky, doing his everyday hard job.
I think you can imagine/estimate how many rounds he has to walk with burden on his shoulder, to make this hill of salt...

Yep I'm living in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City.
In last weekend's photo trip, some of my friends came closer to the salt field, and shoot with their fish-eye, zoom or tele lenses, and the photos are really dramatic...
I shoot with my 18mm lens, about 10-12m away from the subject...
