Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
What program are you guys using?? I am trying to give a client a disk and the last one, I gave DVD with folders burned but when they went to print them they couldn't. They had to end up transferring the images into a SD disk and do it that way. What am I doing wrong here?

I am using Windows 7

Just use the built in explorer.

Pop in the blank CD-R, it brings up a window that's empty of files for the CD.

Drag'n'drop the photos into it, or ctrl-C/ctrl-V into the CD window

On the left side there should be a "write files to CD" or "Burn Disc"...click it.

Make a sammich

????

Profit

I see, I used a DVD last time is that why it did that??

Could be, I've never used a DVD for giving images to a customer, always CD-R's.

Besides, if you're giving them JPEG's...a CD-R will hold more than enough photos for the average portrait session...weddings not included. And IIRC, CD-R's are cheaper than DVD's.

Food for thought.

I see. Thanks. I don't have any CD-R but years ago I bought like a bunch of DVD-R on sale $5 for 50 so that's what I use.

That's a pretty good deal, I don't blame you lol

I use PSE 8 and the organizer will burn to the cd/dvd rather easily.

Perhaps the client'd DVD reader is not compatible with this type of disk?

Do other types of DVDs work for this person? Does that DVD work in a different computer or player?
