Business cards with a photo....

Im considering purchasing a small amount of business cards, something like 250 to start with. The purpose is networking only, I have no studio nor do I intend to be a full time photographer. I have photographed a few friends, family, and model mayhem models and was thinking the cards would help generate people portrait opportunities on the weekend for me.

With that said, I want to include one of my better photographs on the card, but given the varying print quality of cards, Im uncertain on who to use for printing. Does anyone have suggestion for a company that can produce business cards with a descent quality photograph?

KmH you took my answer!! lol Right now there is a coupon code BC100 for $10.00 off! I just bought another 100 cards from there! I design all my own invites, announcements, cards, etc. and order them from there. They do a great job. However, I will admit my x-mas cards this year were a little too orange...but for the price they can't be beat!

Also, I order mine two sided with rounded corners and they look SO professional and nice!

You can also print your own. This way, on one sheet of cards, you can have 8-10 (I think it's 10 per page) different images on the cards. This creates a portable portfolio, since you will always have a stack of cards with you. This has worked great for me, let me tell you.

I would personally go with MPIX.com. They are a professional photography printhouse that also does business cards. Since their main source of income is profession photography printing, I'm pretty sure they will do a great job with the business card prints. They are easy to work with and a great business. I have had many of my photographs printed there, as well as several business cards (not with photographs).

I've actually had *horrible* luck with MPIX (actually, MPIXPRO's) business cards. I tried 2-3 reprints, and they were all pretty gross. Love their photo printing and wraps, but the business cards don't appear to be a strong suit of theirs.
