I was going to put the umbrella in the stand on the deck, but this little fella had taken up residence. Just didn't have the heart to boot him out.

And an even softer finger. These little cute lizards bite with lighting speed, and have a grip that you wouldn't believe. Having had one latch on my finger more than once, I prefer to just live and let live now. Besides they eat LOTS of bugs.

And an even softer finger. These little cute lizards bite with lighting speed, and have a grip that you wouldn't believe. Having had one latch on my finger more than once, I prefer to just live and let live now. Besides they eat LOTS of bugs.

Yup Species Profile: Green Anole (Anolis carolinensis) | SREL Herpetology it's kinda neat to watch them on the deck when they blow up the little red pouch under their neck.

Yup Species Profile: Green Anole (Anolis carolinensis) | SREL Herpetology it's kinda neat to watch them on the deck when they blow up the little red pouch under their neck.

But they have a completly black eye and this has a a black slit in the eye

They have eyelids that fully close. He was pretending to be asleep in the hope that I would move in close enough that he could jump out and bite me!!!

Although this one was green at the time they are similar to chameleon able to change thier color to match their surroundings. During the spring there's a lot romance in the air and the red pouch stands out better with the green
