Buying New Camera Lenses

Heres my dilemma,
I am currently looking for new lens. I have had a great pleasure of working with my canon 50mm F1.8 for quite some time now paired with my 60D. I mostly shoot portraits (senior pictures mostly) sometimes I shoot sports (Im planning on buying a 70-200mm F4 non-is). On the other hand, I also enjoy shooting landscape and at night (light painting & night sky landscape). Now my problem is IDK what lens I should buy. I was thinking on buying canon 20mm F2.8 for landscaping and buying Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 for portraits. Or get just a Sigma18-50mm F2.8-4 (its cheap and as you can tell i like that F2.8

). As of now, I have no clue on what to buy. I dont want to spend more than $600 on each lens since Im a broke college student.

Here's what I would do...

Sell the 50/1.8 for $80 locally. Get the 50/1.4. After that, use the remaining cash to get a sigma 10-20, because the 20mm prime you listed won't be as wide as you might want... However it would be nice to have at night. A non issue if you're planning on using a tripod though.

I would look into the Canon 85mm f/1.8.

He could do that too, but that would limit his ability to shoot landscapes. Which was why I didn't suggest it initially... However the 85mm focal length is VERY nice for portraits, and the canon 85/1.8 is no slouch (but I prefer my sigma 85/1.4

Just bear in mind OP, if you think your 50mm is tight to use indoors, the 85 is going to be much more difficult. If you shoot outdoor portraits mostly its not a big deal.

I'm actually looking into buying a 85mm 1.8, but as for my 50mm 1.8, I heard that the 1.8 is sharper than the 1.4.
Also, the sigma 10-20mm doesn't have a low enough aperture. I've been looking at tokina 11-16 2.8

The Canon 50mm f/1.8II is basically garbage IMO. It's a cheap design, few and geometric aperture blades, and slow to focus. The 50/1.4 will be just as sharp at any given aperture.
