C&C: Animals (and question on action shots)

Hey folks,

I spent some time taking shots of a friend's two dogs today. I'd like to get some general feedback! I mainly used today to get used to shooting things on the move, and as such had a problem with focusing on background instead of subject, etc. Any tips or suggestions are appreciated.
