Yeah if you look up some of the L series lenses on Amazon and see their sample pix, you'll see some w/ really nice photos with XS or XT bodies where you might think they used a more expensive body.

Are these all manually focused with your 50mm 1.8? I know the d3000 won't autofocus that lens because it lacks a motor. Anyway, I like them all

My favorite is #1. I love the clarity of the droplets. There is also a nice contrast of sharp and slightly blurry.

very nice 2 and 3 are my favorites the very end of the legs look slightly oof maybe just a slightly more dof would fix it
