WHat would you change in this pic? I'm very new and the only think I can think of is it's not as clear as I could have gotten it. But what else?

There is a distracting bug on the right flower and a spec on the left. Also it isn't focused properly. Maybe also a bit more contrast. Composition is good IMO.

Alright, thanks a lot. I thought the bug was kind of cool because I didn't even realize it was there until I looked at the pic, the flowers were very small. What should I do about the spec on the left though? Try and get it off before I take the pic or just find a new flower?

Yeah try and get it off or photoshop it out. Generally you should avoid flowers or plants with malfunctions, weird specs, half shriveled petals and such. Off course if you see a snail eating a leaf it could be a great shot.
