Here's the second picture from the series referred to in my topic

Please critique away! It's a photo of my Grandpa from back in the War, with my mum's hand holding it.

It's a scanned fibrebased print that took about 3 months of dodging and burning to get the slightest detail on her arm - her arms are too bloody perfect to show any drama damnit! But it was important that it was my mother holding the photo of her father.

Thanks RiDeR, it got a lot of praise when I done it, it was the first bit of work I took seriously back when I was doing my diploma. Got it framed n everything [smiles sheepishly in the corner like a kid] Alot of people disagree with the harsh contrast!

That's an excellent shot! I think I would like to see the highlights on her hands reduce slightly, but that's minor. A well done, intriguing image.

I like the composition of it a lot but i was a bit distracred by the bracelet it's kinda of close to the side of the frame...

You know, I never thought about that bracelet before. Hmm 'tis a bit annoying isn't it.
