They are all underexposed quite a bit. For kids, higher exposures usually work better.

Love the comp on #1 but underexposed as stated above.

#1 is a sweet nap-time capture, but I do wish his eyes were a bit above the mid-line level of the frame. Same with the second picture--his eyes are too low in the frame, which literally pulls the eye "downward", and ruins the fun mood. When a subject's chin is right near the edge of the frame, it's generally not good. #3 is the weakest of the three shots, and looks slightly blurred,and it just does not have the unity of the first two shots--I cannot figure out exactly what his mood is in #3, and so I don't like the shot much.
