my only complaint is that the backround is a litte distracting.
what do you guys think?

It's an interesting water scape shot, with what looks like a water ferry coming through the foreground.

So with shots where you stop down and bring more detail into the shot, It's important to have a story to tell with the shot. The foreground, the middle, and rear need to tie together, or bring interest to the photo.

If your main objective was to draw attention to the small boat, then I think it might be a bit overwhelmed. Plus, it would be my preference to see the boat on the right side of the photo, so it looks like it has more room to go before running out of the photo.


Looks like a nice area, reminds me of Victoria BC.
