I love the vibrance of the red X. Perfectly exposed!
I would stay away from the centering though...rule of thirds you know...

Well, the photos show me that they were taken with love!
I can see as much.
And they are a lot better than many a parents' child photography! A lot better!
The one of your son sniffing the leaves is funny. I guess he's a funny character. Reminds me of my little friend Jacob. He loves getting his photo taken, too.

Nevertheless: you DID have fun taking your friend's kids' photos? It shows. You did it with some fondness for them, and I can feel that.

I like them... the colors feel off to me on the first 3. 1 and 3 seem too blue, 2 seems green or yellow... *my monitor is not calibrated*
