Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hi everyone,
I've been gone for a long time with health, life, waiting on a decent camera, etc. getting in the way but have decided to take some time for myself again and get back into photography...and with it I need some C&C and support. Went to the local park the other day with my friend and snapped some pictures. Have a Canon Rebel XS with kit lense (hoping to expand with Christmas coming) and used a polarizing filter. Hope two pictures are ok for one thread.

I really like the though behind this picture, but wish perhaps she was a little sharper. Was working on silhouette (as I am sure you can see) and using the natural light...was around 11am. The guy in the jeans across the water detracts....should look at my whole surroundings.

This guy was absolutely hilarious and quite patient with me snapping away. Apart from his left side being shadowed (should I have repositioned myself or would using another flash worked) is there anything else I should be working on?

Thoughts and thanks in advance

C&C per req:

1. L like this, but I think it needs a different crop; I would crop the top off of the image just below the far shoreline so that you keep the reflection, but don't see any of the ground. I would also think about taking some off the LH side.

2. Cute; a shame about the sahdow image right, but squirrels aren't noted for being cooperative models.

Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

good job on #2. I have actually had one squirrel that is a camera hog last year and this year I have one that is camera shy right in my yard.
