Calibrating

Poor man's calibrator....

If you can make out each individual square/shade you're monitor is "ok". If the squares/shades run into each other... You need adjustment.

How true is this?! Because I can see all 26 squarezzz!!:thumbup::mrgreen:
 

It's showing 3 calibrated versions of the same shot. The right side (closer to grey) is calibrated by eye on Bitter's computer screen. That looked - to him on his screen with his eyes to be white.
However the other two segments show the results of his experiments with hardware based calibration methods - showing that what he was seeing was grey and not white. It can take alittle work to get perfected but it shows the fact that hardware based screen calibration is the only way to go if you want a properly calibrated screen.
