Personally I fell in love with the concept of the Lowepro Flipside bag the very moment I learned about it.

Not only is it perfectly safe against theft (unless the thief goes to extraordinary measures), it also applies no stress at all to the zipper, as most other bag designs do, and doesnt need to get a special protection out when it starts raining (you need to get the 400 or 500 AW to be protected against rain, though).

I've got the LowePro Flipside 400AW. It contains my D7000, 35mm f/1.8G, 50mm f/1.8D, 70-200VRII, 24-70 f/2.8, SB700, rocket blower, lens cloths/fluid, 8 SD cards, flash gels, spare batteries, and other odds/ends. It also has a tripod strap and will hold water bottles on either side.

We also use a tenba bag. Holds the D90, 4 lenses, 2 speedlights, softbox, snoot, spare batteries, and a myriad of other miscellaneous accessories. Love the zipper on the top.

The Crumpler Barge Deluxe is certainly a good looking bag.

Sure looks like a good bag, just sounds like fat lady singing.

I have the Manfrotto Velocity VII that really worked great when I went to Alaska, airports were easy with it.

I use the Lowepro Photosport 200. If you want to travel with more than two lenses or if you have any long lenses, its not a very good bag. However, the Photosport is comfortable and has room for non-camera related stuff. It also has a pocket for a hydration reservoir, which has proven very useful, and it is small enough to be easy to use for travel.

I think mine is the 3N1-22 or something. I have a D700, two small lens, three mid-size zooms, plus filters and so on.
The bag can turn from a backpack style to single sling, very easy conversion. It can be configured for side opening and has a slot for laptops/hydration pack. I love it because it does everything I need it to do. It's very versatile and I travel with it on foot, on plane and on scooter. The only not so complete thing about it is a tripod carrier. I've tried different ways to attach a tripod on it but hasn't been successful. I just hang it at the bottom of the back strap if I need to.

My equipment is pretty much the max it can carry. Right now it's completely full and getting really heavy. Therefore, I will have to layoff from getting more gear for some time!

For this particular model, it has a slot in the back that allows you to attach it to a collapsible travel trolley if you need to drag it across the airport. They say this is designed to fit their own trolley which needs to be purchased separately, but I think you can find a cheaper trolley that does the same job.

Also, depending on how you configure it, I think it should hold a mounted 70-200... but I am not sure.

I ended up going with the Tenba Large Messenger...and it's absolutely great. VERY comfortable and it holds my 5dMkII w/ 17-40mm L attached, my 70-200mm f/4L, my 50mm 1.4, my 430 speedlite, 2 hoya filters (in case), wireless intervalometer, a host of accessories, and there's still room for another mid-size lens if I need it.

I'm still keeping my Lowepro Flipside 300 for those hiking/travel lite situations.

I'm picking up a Lowepro 100 AW. I like the idea of having the ability to switch between a sling bag or a backpack just by pulling out the other strap. Since I don't have a bunch of lenses yet, the 100 will be all I need for a while and it doesn't break the bank like a Crumpler, lol.
