Camera for christmas

A friend asked what camera to get his girlfriend for christmas. When he said his budget was $150 max and that she was not 'into' cameras my advice was for him to get one in her favourite colour.

Honestly, all current point and shoot compacts in that price range are pretty much all equivalent.

True. I was in the same boat for my in-laws as my wife wanted to get her mother a nicer camerA. Ended up choosing the Nikon S4300 in black.
