Alright after a little wait my macro adapter has arrived from Ebay. (Note: Photo's are not cropped, they are just reduced in size for the forums. No other PP has been done to them.)

This is what the ring looks like.

Now here is a test shot. I used my 50mm f/1.8 II. First shot is as close as I could get without the adapter. Second is with the adapter.

Now it is kinda tricky since the focus on the lens really doesn't help much until it is 95% in focus from moving your camera closer to the subject. But I'm sure with more then 10min I can get some way nicer shots.
