Can you look at my photo and help me?!

So ive been struggling for months to make perfectly CLEAR images. This was taken with my Nikon D7000 and my 28-70 2.8. ISO 100 @2.8 1/800 sec. It was focused right on her eye.

Can someone please tell me what im doing wrong?? Any tips would help!

So, what's wrong with it? It's sharp enough that you can see the pores in her skin and count the threads in her dress. You aren't going to get a lot sharper. The background is blown out but that has nothing to do with the focus. I guess I don't understand what you are asking.

The color likely changed because there is a color space issue.

Focus looks fine to me too. Perhaps you have unrealistic expectations because you lack a fundamental understanding of how a digital camera, lens, and focus works.

Ok so if it looks fine, then great. It bothers me how blurry it is on Facebook. But KMH that is why I posted my cameras settings for this photo to gain some knowledge from you older photographers. So any tips for me?

That one doesn't look that great to me, it's over-sharpened. The biggest problem I see with yours is that the color balance is all over the place. As KmH said, it's probably a color-space issue.

Facebook is a social community, not a high-quality photo hosting source. They have never been known for the quality of their image serving.

If your concern is with FB displaying the image, it's possible you're not resizing the image for web display. By looking at the above image posted, you have way too large dimensions for web posting (especially for FB). I've found that nothing larger than 800 pixels on the longest side will give you the best view on FB. Of course, this brings on a new set of tasks for processing your images. You'll need different final sharpening treatments for both hi-res and web size.

It is soft because you shot with the aperture wide open. Almost every lens is soft wide open. Do some experimenting and discover what f stop is sharpest for this lens at the different focal lengths. If you had shot this at f/5.6 and 1/200 or f/8 and 1/100 you most likely would have a sharper image and the background would still be out of focus.

Why did you choose f/2.8 at 1/800?

Even though the attached image has color issues, it is clear that your picture IS pretty sharp given your aperture. But... you could use a smaller aperture to increase sharpness. You could try F/5.6 for a decent balance between DoF and sharpness.

Aside from that, if you are talking about the Facebook image, FB compressed your image to hell. It is soft due to FB compression, the attached one looked fine.

Oh, also, you may want to do more study and work on your PP skills. In the fullsized view, it is very obvious where you retouched part of her face but not all of it. You can even see the circles from the brush you used. It's pretty jarring. On the web, it's not obvious, but if they printed that picture out to 8x10, it would be completely obvious.
