Canon 40D L+RAW mode question.

RTFM.. yesyes..
I read, "withe RAW + L and other RAW+JPEG simultaneous recordings, both the RAW and JPEG images will be saved in the same folder under the same file No...
BUT!
When I was browsing through my CF card after shooting with RAW+L mode, i coudln't find any .CR2 files!!!

Is my CF card secretly eating up RAW formats or... am i doing something wrong?

It's possible the files are hidden... have you tried actually importing the CR2s into a program?

when i take photos with RAW mode only, i see CR2.. but not with RAW + L..

i'll try folder option "show hidden" i guess!

idk if this answers your question but when you select to record in 2 formats at the same time, it only displays one frame ON THE CAMERA. but when you import it onto your computer, you will have 2 frames.

what program are you trying to use to view the raw files. i dont know your skill level, but you do know that you need special software to view raw files right? (your camera should have come w/ at least a simple raw viewer/editor). If you're just trying to view them in a folder, if you dont have any programs that recognize raw files, you may not see the files at all..even if they are there.
