Canon N1 HS Question

Hi all,
I just purchased a Canon EOS 1N HS and was wondering if I should have waited for a good deal on the EOS 3? I'm not that familiar with either one, but wanted to give film another try. In the past I've used the Canon AE1 and AE1 Program, but never ventured into the more professional line. I realize the EOS 3 is a later edition camera, but the cost appears to be somewhat more. The EOS 1n appears to have enough features to confuse me, but was hoping to get some valued opinions. I bought the 1n with power drive for $100.00 I didn't think I got burned at that price.

By the way, I do have an EOS 40D that I've been using with great success, but just wanted to become more familiar with film again. Seems there are a number of people interested in getting back to film these days.

Thank you for your response. From what I've been seeing on line, I guess the price I paid was decent. Now let's see if my interest in film holds up.
