There are lots of batteries...what's good? There's after market batteries, there's fakes, and then there's Chinese cheapies. Ebay is full of the latter ones. I'd say go to a reputable store and grab a set of offbrand aftermarket batteries. They cost half as much as the Canon/Nikon ones and are still top quality. My experience on buying from eBay has been varied, the last time I bought batteries there the battery lasted 3 months before it failed to charge at all.
