I think this has something to do with resizing when embedding the image. Seems to me the original photo on Flickr isn't that crisp.

Good composition, nice colours, interesting foreground elements. I particularly like the rocks in 1 and 2, the third is a really nice use of a leading line as well. Really nice captures mate!

I really liked your B&W, but it just felt a little dark and flat to me.

Thanks Rick! I made it a bit dark to portray the waning light of the evening. Can you point out what made the photo flat? could it be the lighting?
