Just as a heads up: if you'd like to start a Photo Theme thread, there is a separate forum for that. (Photo Themes - I believe there are a few bird threads that would be appropriate for these shots. Please check the sticky posts for existing themes before creating a new thread.)

The Photo Galleries forum is generally for C&C (comments and critique.) Are you asking for C&C for these shots?

I'm actually about to give up on this forum. I tried to post these before and this makes the second time some one told me to post them some where else. I followed the menues and found wild life and lots of other bird posts so I put it here

Welcome to the forum! We're just trying to give you some clarification on using the different Galleries and forums here.

When you wrote:

limr was suggesting the Photo Themes section because it's more in keeping with what you described here - anyone can post to a thread with a "theme" - like cardinals! But adding your own images to someone else's thread in one of the regular Galleries, like Wildlife or People, is generally a no-no.

The Galleries are to invite critique or discussion of the picture you post - only your picture - so, anyone else posting in that situation is confusing. That's what the "Themes" are for, as limr was saying, just for everyone to add to and not look for any feedback or critique on your work. Very casual.

Nice set! I would either crop the distracting black OOF object to the left or just discard the image completely for number 5 (imo).

Nice set we do welcome people to post photos they take but most people dont like it when someone post's a photo to there thread without asking if it is ok
