I don't mind the center composition of #2, nor the background actually. I would say it is actually telling the strongest story out of any of them.

The look is saying to me "This room is a fricking mess" especially with the visual clues that it actually is. The center composition is forgivable since the image is still split into thirds by dark vs lit.
