Okay so I just got a new Canon DSLR to replace my old one. I spent too much and now can't afford to buy an external flash for a while.
I was looking at a few options for your pop up flash, and came across these.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pop-up-Flas...Accessories&hash=item2c5ee955f5#ht_4502wt_944 This one is identical to the "LQ Soft Screen" for 4 bucks on ebay.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Color-Pop...ccessories&hash=item48448f211f#ht_3292wt_1177 This one is identical to the "puffer" for 4 bucks on ebay. With 3 colors.

It would be great if they had the "scoop" or the ZEH card for that cheap lol, thought I'd share with you guys.

A table tennis ball with a slit in it to fit on the flash is also cheap...

I don't always carry my flash gun with me, sometimes all I have available is the on camera flash. I posted this for people that might
want something more substantial than a paper index card for diffusing the harsh pop up flash.
Oh, congrats on having a fancier camera than I do. It's great to hear you consider it a luxury item that should be excluded.

I consider the item with such poor quality mine has never been used. Inside I'll tweak my ISO before popping it up, outside I'll find anything to use as a reflector.

I used one of these the other day because i didn't have my lights with me http://www.amazon.com/Sopus-Products-Axius-1203006B-Windshield/dp/B001A3MKFY

I doubt the pop-up would even clear my 24-70 or 70-200 VRII lenses. Whats this "luxury" you speak of? [IMG]

And don't take me too serious on the net.....

Fair enough lol. I love those reflectors, I'll take redirected sunlight over flash any day.

Won't make much difference, but will limit the range of your flash quite a bit and/or run down the batter faster than without it.
