Cheerful thoughts of spring

It's been a looooong winter so I bought some colorful flowers to lighten our spirits. Not sure if it's the color or the light or if it's just the thought of tulip season starting soon around here but looking at this makes me happy so I thought I'd share it.

I am so with you, wanting spring badly! The tulips are one of my favorite bloomers too. I saw some in the grocery store the other day and gave a little sigh of relief.

Actually, we were supposed to get a little snow here too, but it didn't happen. :flower:


If my observations over years past are accurate, the magnolias should bud the second week of March and there will be leaves by second week of April.
