Took the family to Chicago for few days, had a ball there and of course my D7K was hard at work and I got to experience and learned a lot.
I really would want to share few photos with you and feedback would be appreciated as well or just see what I got to enjoy there

I posted this more to share my trip with the people here and if anyone like to critic a pic or two then I will gladly welcome it.

I took tons of jellyfish shots and some are nice, these creatures are beautiful and painful

Here are 2 more pictures, they are slightly blurry but that's because there was little light, I had to shoot at a rather slow shutter speed, they were moving and I shot through glass.

I loved the jellies too. I used a macro lens to get the detail. Your lighthouse shot is really nice.

The jellyfish is the one that striked me too, the colors are really unusual.

my son Chris practically lived there or 18 months. Chris was project super on the last renovation. He had his office behind the sceans, He totally loved it there.

You did a great job of shooting your stay. I like the light on the lions head. Was that Lincoln Park zoo. Really enjoyed your post. Nice to see the good side of Chicago

These 2 were my favorite out of your set. Just liked the first one overall and the jellies are just cool. The Shedd is an awesome place

Few things I took with me from Chicago.

1.Coming from Canada I found the people there to be nice but more aggressive then Toronto
2.You hardly hear people using their horn on the roads in TO while Chicago looks like if you don't honk your horn ever 5 sec people will think you are weird.
3.The Architecture of this city is breathtaking, the Navy Pier is a must for all tourists

I also learned a lot about my own camera

No need to be shy to bump up the ISO, my ISO was devided a lot into two parts

1.100ISO when we were outside day time
2.3200ISO when we walked in the down town core at night and I snapped a lot of pictures of people, streets and buildings.

All my 3200ISO came out great and very usable.
My D7K is a real champ in low light and I know I did the right thing getting it.

The love of my life (my wife) and the bean

A shop in the navy pier were selling there cute bears, I though it will make a cute shot

A shot I really liked of the lion at the top and lioness at the bottom of the frame, looks like in the lions world the male is the king (if I was in this picture you would see my wife on the rock and me at the bottom doing dishes LOL).
