Christmas dinner

I love Deli foods, I never met a sausage I did not like. Cheeses, pork rinds, chicken skin, all the foods that taste so good. Well that came to an end a year & a half ago when I had a heart attack and I was rushed from the local hospital to a regional hospital code blue where they put two stents into my heart @ 90% blockages. A few months later I had open heart surgery for bypasses to two 80% blockages.

In rehab we were taught proper diet - bacon & eggs were to be a once a month treat. Oh gawd do I ever have a problem walking past the Deli counter in a supermarket.

So, for my Christmas dinner I cooked a sausage.

Yes Ron, it is not fair, how come good tasty food are usually bad to our health!!
