Cleaning Lens

I just noticed my camera's lens has a fingerprint on it. Can I just clean it with normal tissue paper? Or will this damage it?

Please help.

It's best to use a lens cleaning cloth designed for photographic lenses. Using tissue may damage the coating over time. You can find these clothes at your local camera store.
