Clear hood

I would like to get more of a plastic hood effect. Any Ideas

the only thing that pops into my head is to rebuilt the hood in 3dsmax and give a nice glass texture.....................but thats probably alot off work. Cant think off anything else though

What steps did you do to get the layered look?

Maybe overlaying the two photos and adjusting the opacity in the blending options?
Or, and I don't know if this will work.
Long Exposure, pop a flash or have a bright lighten when you start the exposure, then pop the hood in a quick manner.
