community college (first real try with new camera)

These are my first shots that i actualy tried to get something cool, before i was just shooting anything to learn how to use my new d50.

comments, criticism anything welcome. im open to hear peoples opinions

this second shot is a repeat of my friend, he took a shot at the same place very similar with his camera a long time ago and i wanted to redo it with a digital slr.

I like them! For some reason I like the 1st one the best, but they are both great!

thanks, i think the frist one would have looked better if the center railing on the stairs was staggered a little more cause they just seem spaced oddly to me.

Very well done.
And unlike the pilotkid, I like the curved line of stairs and lights in Photo 2 a bit better so all in all I prefer 2 over 1. But both are well done!
Isn't night photography a joy when it works out?
