condensation in slide mounts

Does anyone else suffer from unsightly blemishes growing like fungus on projection screens after a glass mounted slide has been up for around 20secs ? I use a CFC free aerosol to blast the dust off before mounting the slide in anti-Newton mounts - but still the moisture appears, despite dry storage.
 
That may be your problem, try a soft sable brush instead.

When I lived in New York, I stored my carousel trays in two gallon zip-lock
bags with lots of silica gel. It seemed to help with the moisture.

Here is Nevada, the problem doesn't exist!
