Corniche (The Bay in Arabic)

Few shots I managed to take in a rare outing. As always C&C is always welcomed, equipment is as followed.

Ahhh Doha. I just got back to the UK after a 5 year stint there.
The pics seem a little saturated. The greens and reds pop out. Maybe a little less. The Dhow is the best of the set.
Remember not to take pics of the city from the Pearl side as there is a palace that the guards really dont like being photographed.

cheers, I have a habit with the green reds and blues. Just find Qatar so drab at times and feel the need to help it along lol

You should try sunrise at Al Wakra family beach or sunset at Dhukan beach if you want vivid colours.
Head out from Dhukan towards Umm Bab until you get to the turn off for Diyab (53 Km from Dhukan) and head back to Dhukan. On the side of the road you will see a large rubbish skip next to a gate, go through the gate and bear left toward the hills. 12 Km from the gate there is a camel / goat breeding station run by a family who live out there. They are quite friendly and love visitors taking pictures of their prise camels. Remember to take dates and water when you first meet them.
