Correct adapter for Sb-600?

I want to use a pc cord with my Nikon Sb-600. Is this the correct part I need?

The reason I am unsure is because that seem to be made for the camera's hot shoe that feeds to a pc cord, and the top hot shoe does nothing but hold something. So, how do I connect a pc cord into my Sb-600, which has no connection for one, but only a hot shoe on the bottom? Thanks.

That is for the camera side. You slip that into your camera and connect the PC sync cable from that to you SB-600 (it should have a PC socket on the side).

What camera you using? Many have a sync socket too.
